I don’t know much about booking people into jail. But I can tell you that Trump is not 6 foot three and 215 pounds. The internet is already a buzz about this blatant lie. But more importantly is a question of basic justice.

To be able to not measure somebody’s height and weight, basic scientific measurements, undermines the Justice systems sense to collect basic evidence. It reinforces the sense that the police can’t do the basics of their job. How can this not be standard practice?

To demonstrate basic evidence gathering skills is critical for the justice system. To let Trump walk out of there looking with stats like he’s ripped like a pro athlete or skinny like a golf star is silly. He is not.

It leads to the question: did they actually weigh him and measure his height? Or do they just take his word for it? That’s not something that they should let happen. With the nation watching, it looks like he got to negotiate a lie. He got “saved the embarrassment” of putting his butt on the scale and standing up against the tape to show height.

Mysteriously the same thing happened to Guiliani, but a Correction was made. Giuliani was booked in at 5 foot 9 inches with a weight of 180 pounds. Then, that same day, somehow his stats…
