Social Issues Go Bust
What are the “social Issues” anyway? It’s worth talking about for a few minutes. Because Biden’s got zero money from his wish list for these. I hope it’s a not euphemism for ‘minority’ or ‘black poor people in the ghetto’ or ‘gays and queers’, or something like that, because then he would be exposed as a pro-business, anti-people leader. And we know that’s not true, right?
Half of the graph above, taken from an analysis by the NYTimes, shows what he proposed versus what he got. This is what he got for his party in terms of budget.
Just a quick analysis of the chart: It represents campaign promises versus campaign fulfillments. The promise was to help make American diverse, support people at the bottom and working class. That formula is something like: “I want to do X for the Middle Class and Do Y [for the people’s health care] and lower drug prices. I want to take on the powerful for the people.” Basically, the whole Democrat platform, stuff I’m for.
The fulfillment of those promises can be measured in money. So how did that work out? Pretty bad for the people. The right half shows the billions he got for the business and rich people: Buildings, manufacturing, transportation, Utilities and Climate. All of these are Industry. Are they Jobs?
