As a middle-aged white man, I have to say to this, Yes! Don't be doing the work of supremacists. One of Malcolm X's most revolutionary tactics was calling black women beautiful and praising them. He reversed the image and spread their dignity, showing their inner and out humanity and work. I only realized lately that this perhaps is one of the most radical tactics.
For 25 years after the Civil War black Americans "fought back" with dignity, running for Congress and appearing well dressed and dignified, the last one getting elected to Congress in 1898.
Black women in that period created the Dignity Movement to counter the racism violence and constant demeaning slurs thrown against them. They took photographs showing their dignity to promote their "surperior" humanity.
Martin Luther King picked up on this theme to win the civil rights movement to get the legislation signed. He saw the dignity reflected in the one black girl going to school in Arkansas during desegregation, defying the angry and vile white mob around her in 1957.
The nasty and vile insults thrown out by the last president and cronies are a reflection of the nation's deep problem of how white supremacy functions: first it insults your appearance, then your humanity and worth, then it does what it wants to these it deems subhuman from endless insults. Don't do their work. Walk with praise in your heart.
