An incredible actor. After The WIre I saw an article where I learned he was trained as a broadway singer and dancer I believe. Kind of like Chris Walken who is also but took naturally to roles of crime bosses. Michael was a cop too in movies, and broke a deep sense of morality mixed with pain. Great in Boardwalk Empire.
