Just remember that George Washington helped advise Congress its members in 1778 to pass a bill for universal health care as a right in exchange for the freedom of slaves to fight for the Revolution. That law contradicted the Tyrant’s law (King George III’s) of Rhode Island, because his law he signed ruled over that state as an alternate claim on that state. It was an existential conflict literally for Washington—win or die and have the state police controlled by George III hang the revolutionaries for being traitors. It was too late for Washington as he was General and target for the state stormtroopers who worked under the laws of George III. If he surrendered, he died, if he quit, he died. Today, because the autocratic confederate MAGAs never back down and never shut up; they have bent the American narrative to their will to make it seem like Washington was their man and they are pro-democracy. Be assured they are not; they are pro-slavery, pro-America First, pro-war, pro-guns. They are servants of George III. Liberals back down because these MAGAs warped reality and control the American narrative which they believe is pro-autocracy.
