True believers remain true believers through everything. They need it, no matter what outcome. Jim Jordan, at the time writing this, has garnered a vast amount of the MAGA extremists vote to be speaker. He is an insurrectionist central to planning of January 6th and known protector of a pedophile who defied a legal subpoena. And despite all that, the mainstream media and liberals, the general white public as well, will continue to propagate, under the reports and conversations they mouth, their false belief that a vast majority of extremist white bullying Republicans are the fringe, the far right.

“No matter what, no matter what,” they chant around a sacred centrist bonfire over and over again, “the majority is the fringe.”

They are telling themselves they are decent people, they are decent people, this man does not represent them, this man does not represent them. “No, Jim Jordan does not represent the GOP. Just some bizarre fringe element.” “But he collected 95 percent of their vote today.” Oh, but the world will see him prevail, in one way or the other, with his name as speaker, with the name of Trump again as president, or some other extremist from the 95 percent as speaker, as they caught in their derangement.
