Agreed, these studies have to be funded. It's time to push for it. The one reason that most genetic tests for ancestry show such little diversity for black Americans is because whites started the testing and marketing to whites, so most samples reflect that precision of diversity of white origin. However, Africa actually has far more genetic diversity than Europe. The more data samples that can be collected, the greater that people can trace their diversity. Of course that makes sense, since homo sapiens developed in Africa much longer, and diversified more. Africa is big as well and can fit America, China, Europe and Brazil with in it land mass. So, there was great room to spread out. In fact they spread out to the Sinai pensula and lower middle east and I just saw a scientific article that uncovers these black Africans actually started farming and agriculture. in that lower middle east period.
