Actually, that isn't how the voting in Germany worked. the highest level of support from polling Hitler received was 44 percent. But he got elected in a Parliamentary system. His social party was in the minority but formed a coalition with the powerful party of the lame complicit establishment. They meet with six of the old party surrounding three from the Nazi party that included Hitler because the old party wanted to show they could control Hitler and contain him. Hence this photo op. A few days later Hitler burned down their Congress building instead of storming it like on January 6. From the use of terror he continued to gut the democracy, leaving it weakened and the other parties just empty shells or eliminated. The majority of people never voted him. But it only takes 20 to 25 percent to terrorize the majority and take control. I get your point though and glad you made it.
